Pregnant? Maybe!: If a woman of childbearing age has unprotected sex and misses her period, she might be pregnant. However, it's not uncommon for young women to have irregular (anovulatory) periods. Any home pregnancy test can confirm your status after you missed your menses. Then go to your family doc for a thorough evaluation and possible prenatal care vs contraception. Your boyfriend still needs to wear condoms.
