Could be trauma: Was the fingering vigorous - or unclipped fingernails? You may have had minor trauma. A number of women have an episode of bleeding early in pregnancy and go on to healthy pregnancies and babies. Please let your OB/GYN provider know if this doesn't resolve fairly quickly.
