Galectin 3: Altho galectin 3 is associated with numerous, widespread conditions, the test is approved only for chronic heart failure. Best way to lower levels is to work closely with your doc in all modalities used to control chf—fluid restriction, diuretics, daily weight checks, possible pacemaker. Discuss these options with doc.
