Yes: Pain causes stress, stress causes release of epinephrine, Epinephrine will raise your pulse. Are you sure the pain is related to your kidney problem? Stones in the kidney don't usually cause pain unless the get into the ureter and cause irritation and blockage. Just be sure the pain isn't something else!
