Unlikely: A healthy person with a normal neck can rotate his head gradually in any direction and should be fine. It is not recommended to manually "help" move the head farther than or faster than it naturally can go by itself, just to see what can happen beyond the limits. One can go see a trained osteopathic doctor, if wondering about his own unique situation.
