Debatable: The most important, measurable semen parameters are total sperm count (should be >40 million/ejaculate), sperm concentration (should be >20 million/ml of semen), and motility (normal ranges vary by laboratory). Poorly motile sperm, known as asthenospermia, can be a cause of male-factor infertility. There are many correctible causes - i recommend seeing an urologist.

WHO: According to who criteria, 40-50% of sperm should be motile. This number is not concrete and should be evaluated with the rest of the semen parameters. Mild motility problems do not mean sterility, rather a reduced chance of getting pregnant. Having abnormal semen parameters requires an evaluation.
