Probably not: While sexual intercourse has been linked to increased risk of urinary tract infection in women, to my knowledge there is no proven link to having sex while having your period (or in the time following your period) to increasing risks of infection. In general, to minimize your risks of UTI with intercourse, it is recommended that you urinate immediately after sex.
