In general, drink plenty of fluids without caffeine or alcohol, rest & use hygiene measures to limit the spread of germs. Use things like a vaporizer, nasal saline, and otc products to help symptoms.

Uri: Treatment for a cold is treatment of the symptoms, and should further respiratory or sinus symptoms develop and persist an oral antibiotic may be required.. Treated a cold lasts 7-10 days and untreated it lasts just as long.
