Who has the problem?: You or him? It is fundamental failure of parenting when the child is not given the opportunity to take personal responsibility for his/her actions. If he is not willing to take tablets, then he has to come up with a better solution for his problems. The situation is far deeper than the tablet issue. There's something: Else going on. First, take him to his pediatrician for a complete physical & a random urine drug screen. He may open up to his dr. If alone. Seek referrals to a child & adolescent psychiatrist & a psychologist. If his behaviors are a danger to himself or others, seek an assessment by the admission team at a children's psychiatric hospital. His options are hospitalization or juvenile detention.
