What determines thinking type; concrete, creative? is it common for concrete, logical thinkers to not have high tolerance levels? or is it the adhd?

Development/disease: Abstract thinking develops around age 12, so the normal is for concrete thinking to evolve into abstract. However certain developmental delays are associated with concrete thinking. Schizophrenia and other severe psychotic illness are also associated with concrete thinking. Impulsivity and irritability and frustration tolerance have no connection to concrete or abstract thinking.
