What should i look for when choosing a hospital for birth?

Modern facility: Modern facilities usually seem to go hand in hand with advanced technologies to keep mother and child safe. Also very important is your obstetrician's comfort with the hospital...Things seem to go much smoother at their "usual" hospital.

Inhouse neonatologis: It's very important to have as a back up plan a neonatologist inhouse, who is specialized in a neonatal intensive care, even you are planning to have a normal vaginal delivery. Not all of the hospitals require that. Since some of the neonatologists are operating from home, on a beeper basis, it takes some time for them to get to the hospital and you don't want to sit & wait when every min count.
