May reveal cause: Lymph nodes around your clavicle may indicate a lung problem, even lung cancer. A chest x-ray would be the first step. A chest ct scan would be a reasonable alternative but much more expensive.

Not in the clavicle: Enlarged clavicular lymph nodes can be palpated by hand. A chest xray can demononstrate enlarged lymph nodes in the chest, especiallay in the mediastinum (mid-line structure).

Nodes near clavicle: Lymph nodes are not located in clavicle.Clavicle is the collar bone. Lymph nodes reside superior and inferior to clavicle. If these are enlarged sometimes a soft tissue show may be evident on chest radiograph. Ultrasound or CT would be much more accurate in identifying enlarged lymph nodes.
