Don't think so: I have never heard of someone developing heart failure from that antibiotic. It could be that you had an adverse reaction which caused you to become short of breath.

I doubt it: I cannot think of any way that Metronidazole can cause congestive heart failure. It does not cause salt or fluid retention anddoes not afft=ect the heart's function.
