No, not normal: Getting a headache when trying to concentrate is not normal, but may indicate stress. Tension headaches are very common. If on medications for your adhd, it can affect blood pressure -- which can in some cases lead to headaches. You need to follow up & discuss this with your physician.

Sometimes yes: I've encountered a handful of people whose headache really seemed to improve after being treated for adhd. I had originally thought they had chronic tension type headache. Note that the stimulant meds used to treat adhd can cause headaches as well as all other sorts of things can cause headaches so you should mention this to your doc.
