Can taking zocor (simvastatin) cause restless legs? i take it before i go to bed (10:00), and by 12 my legs are bothering me so much i have to get up. please advise

Not usually: Some meds can cause RLS but statins normal don't. Make sure you're not iron deficient. There's a ton of good treatment options for rls. Your doc can help guide you and refer on if needed.
