Alcoholics Anonymous: Alcoholics anonymous -- or "aa" for short -- would be a good place to start. Your physician can also help with your overall health concerns. Depending on your use, you may or may not need an inpatient program to get started. Psychiatrists can help by evaluating and treating any conditions that might interfere with your recovery. Outpatient alcohol counselors could be helpful too.
