How important is it to keep a mother and teenage daughter relationship going if they are very close?

Very important!: If you are already very close that is great! maintaining this relationship, and being there for your teenage daughter will ensure that she has someone she can talk to and depend on. The teenage years can be very tumultuous so maintaining a close relationship, one in which there is trust and honesty, can only benefit her in the long run!
