PCL sprain: Pcl sprains can, depending on the severity of the sprain, recover in 6-8 weeks. Occasionally surgery is required if the knee remains unstable after the sprain. This can be performed arthroscopically in the hands of a surgeon with experience with the injury.

Recovery time varies: It is common for one to experience pain for several months following an injury. Recovery time may vary on the age, weight and activity level of the individual. Consult with your physician and get their input.
