There are many different methods and techniques and therefore it does not refer to a defined surgical procedure. Established techniques such as anterior or posterior colporrhaphy are more accurate.

Laser surgery: A technique developed on the west coast to use a laser and tighten the vagina. Allegedly it can even be sized to fit your partner. The research on it's effectiveness is weak and many doctors and societies do not recommend it.
