When using a maddox rod, which eye do you put the prism in?

It does not matter: This is a diagnostic tool and by definition implies the person uses both eyes together. Thus it doesn't matter which eye is used with prism to get an answer. This is not an isolated part of a n exam looking for ocular misalignment.
