Depends: Risks depends on what surgery is performed. Infection, retinal issues, pressure fluctuations, and bleeding can occur.

Depends: General surgical risks (infection, pain, inflammation, poor or delayed healing) combined with ocular risks (blurred or distorted or decreased vision) should be considered. Again, fortunately, these risks are quite rare and are all watched for and treated accordingly during the post-op visits.
