Can foot accupressure help during early labor?

Ankle & hand: There are two acupressure points that can be used to help induce labor. One is on the hand and the other is inside the ankle. Be aware that they are normally only useful when the body is physiologically prepared for labor. Acupressure can also be used decrease anxiety and pain during delivery.

I have labor based job. Past 2 wks been having severe pain from feet up to knees makes it hard to sleep at all. I've been taking 1500mg of Tylenol @ once (this only dulls pain a bit). I did this 3 separate days in the last wk. Is this bad? 5'4" 160lb?
I'm due march 19 and I have been in a lot of pain. My feet and legs are swelling really bad and I have been going threw false la I have had false labor for 2 days now should I go to the ER to see if i'm ready go give birth.
