Is it possible for floss to loosen the fillings?

Possibly: If flossing loosens a filling, then there is most likely an unseen problem with the filling like decay or breakage from wear and tear.

Probably not: If floss loosens a filling it is because there was a problem with that filling. It was either cracked or there was decay under it that loosened it.
