Depends: Where is the infection coming from? Did you either bleach your socks and shoes or get rid the the affecting shoe? If not, you might be continually reinfecting the area. Otherwise, have the area evaluated by a physician to see if any other issues are occurring.

Also try...: ...Wearing wool socks. This keeps sweat off the skin, and may help, especially with meds at the same time.
