Consult your doctor: And quit use of tobacco. Hopefully the lesion is not cancer, but you should get is checked out and quit using tobacco asap.

Chewing Tobacco: Strongly implicated as a cause for Oral Cancer. Doubtful it is cancer if you have only dipped 5 times, but quit now. See your Dentist or an Oral Surgeon to evaluate red spots, cause and cure.
