Depends on symptoms: Viral meningitis is really nothing more than a viral infection that got in the wrong place. Avoid close contacts until fever free for 24 hours. Then it just really depends on how you are feeling. If you feel fine, then go for it.

14-21 days: Viral meningitis is usually gone in 14 days. If you wait three weeks it will definitely be gone.
