Stricture: Could potentially be a major problem. Usually means you have a narrowing in your esophagus from various reasons. The reasons could be benign or malignant. Should be evaluated by endoscopy.

Throat or food pipe: Food stuck in the throat is a physical phenomenon that can be caused by a number of factors, such as a throat/swallowing problem or a food pipe problem. A primary care doctor may help figure this out. Food pipe problems best evaluated by a gastroenterologist, swallowing problems best evaluated by an ENT physician (otolaryngologist).

Get this worked up: There are certain symptoms - or complaints - that all physicians should regard as 'alarm' symptoms, i.e. They are of concern. Dysphagia - difficulty with swallowing - is one of those. Please see your md asap.
