Anxiety, panic?: Tight sensation in the middle of chest in a 20-year-old individual could some times be due to an underlying anxiety disorder. Hypersensitivity to physical sensation could also be due to the same mechanism, inducing what is called hyperesthesia. However such an assumption can be made only after excluding physical conditions; see your doctor please.
