Yeast overgrowth is a proliferation of certain yeast made possible by suppression of competition from bacteria which are killed by antibiotic while yeast are not affected. Some antibiotics are more likely than others to do this. Decision to continue antibiotic or not is important. Sometimes it is important to continue antibiotic but half of these prescriptions are errors.
