Inward and outward: Extraversion is a personality trait that involves primary focus on external reality; whereas, introversion involves primary focus on one's own mental life. Ambiversion is in the middle of this continuum.

Myers-Briggs Type…: Indicator & other sources say that extroverts make up 60%-75% of general population; introverts make up the rest. But, in certain professions (law or medicine) the numbers may be quite different. Introverts draw energy from themselves; extroverts are motivated by being with others. Assumption that introverts are shy & socially awkward is wrong; they often are confident & assertive.
