Discopathy: Bulge disc is very common. It might cause no pain. It could cause pain if it touches the nerves or spinal cord. Annular tear could be very painful, but most cases heals in few months and might not cause any problem later on. Please talk to your doc.

Symptom Dependent: You should definitely see your doctor to determine the best treatment for you. There are different severity levels to herniated discs and annular tears. If they are causing you pain and impair your daily life, you need to figure out the best treatment. However, there are many times where if there is only minor or no back pain when you can function without additional treatment.

Some concern: When you have 3 herniated disc and annular tear i will be concern because that tear in the annular could lead rupture of that disc, check it out.Good luck.
