Orthodontic position: Deep bite is how far vertically your top teeth overlap your bottom teeth 110% means your bottom teeth probably go past your top teeth enough to touch the roof of your mouth. Class 2 means "angle class ii, " referring to edward angle's orthodontic classifications and means your bottom teeth are back relative to your top teeth (as compared to "ideal" or class i). Time to call your orthodontist ;-).

Dental malocclusion: This is language dentists use to describe misalignment of teeth/incorrect relation between the teeth of the two dental arches. See http://en.Wikipedia.Org/wiki/malocclusion for more info & discuss the findings with your dentist/orthodontist, who can offer options for correction of the problem.

Normal 1-2 mm: Your upper front teeth should only cover the first 1-2 mm of the lower teeth. Your's cover all the lower front teeth plus 1-2 mm of gums. The class 2 occlusion means your lower teeth are farther posterior than normal. You are in definite need of a good orthodontist.

Dental Jargon: Normal overbite is 25%, 1/4 of lower front teeth covered by upper front teeth. 110% deep bite means overbite is more than 4 times deeper than normal, adversely affecting incisor function. Class II malocclusion indicates upper teeth and/or jaw too far forward, lower teeth and/or jaw too far back, or any combination of the above. See a specialist Orthodontist for best treatment options.
