Reconsider hives: Hives are round to oval, raised, red, itchy welts that can occur anywhere on the body. Sometimes the middle of the raised hive appears lighter in color with surrounding redness. However, hives should not actually turn into whiteheads. It would be worthwhile to see a dermatologist or allergist to see these when they occur.
