Krav Maga: Krav maga was developed as a self-defense system - not as a body building program. Krav maga is a form of self defense that combines boxing, jiu-jitsu, wrestling, grappling & muay thai. Although beneficial it may not be the best way to approach parkour.

Different muscles: Different muscle groups are used in Krav maga than Parkour. I know, because I do Krav maga, and I can't jump or climb like the traceurs I've seen in Parkour movies! That being said, Krav Maga will help improve your energy, balance, and strength, as well as teach you self defense. The muscle groups used in Parkour are more for vaulting, jumping, climbing and swinging etc. unlike Krav Maga.
