A member asked:

Could piracetam cause dependency?

Anything can: Piracetam is a medication available in mexico and other countries but not in the us. It is used for seizures and for other nervous conditions. It is not known to be physiologically addictive, but may cause a psychological addiction. This is a condition where you become dependent on taking the medication and feel a severe emotional effect if not able to get it.

Little data: I have had experience with a grad school population and did not see dependency. I saw little benefit, too.
