Inflammation: Usually these words mean acute on chronic nonspecific 'inflammation' or 'infection' of the lungs and causes could be many. A pulmonary consultation with or without bronchoscopy or more advanced diagnostic procedures may help in arriving to a cause and then the methods of treating that.
