Does photodynamic laser help acne?

Pricey: "photodynamic therapy" --usually the idea is that you take some chemical that is selectively absorbed by diseased cells which are then destroyed by light. This is a scam for most diseases; for acne there's some reason to think it could work but i'd resort to it only after evidence-based remedies (topical / systemic antibiotics, vitamin a analogues, benzoyl peroxide) fail, and they rarely fail.
