A 20-year-old female asked:

all over body itchyness. some bumps but not redish?

Itching is a problem: The most common reason for general itching is dry skin, especially in the winter. If the non-red bumps are on the upper outer arms, this could be keratosis pilaris. If generalized itching is persistent or worsening without dry skin, then see your physician for a thorough evaluation as some liver and kidney issues are possibilities.

What changes can I expect in my body in the second trimester?

Dr. Kristina McCaughtry

Quite a few: In the second trimester, the baby continues to grow, making room for itself by pushing your organs out of the way. So your abdomen will enlarge, and towards the third trimester other problems like hemorrhoids, heartburn and back pain may result. "what to expect when expecting" is one of many good prenatal education books to consider reading for more information.

Stretch marks: Think of stretch marks as a kind of scar. There is no cure for this problem which often looks better over time regardless of what treatment is used. Otc products such as Mederma are of no value.

A female asked:

I have flea bites on my skin. How can I make them stop itching? And how can I repel the fleas from biting me!?

Dr. Robert Kwok
Pediatrics 33 years experience
Over-the-counter med: For flea bites, one can take claritin, zyrtec, or Benadryl (diphenhydramine) to block histamine that causes itching. Hydrocortisone 1% cream 2-3 times a day on the bites for about 5 days will help them go away. For more itch relief, one can put an anti-itch gel such as "itch-x" on bites. Itch-x has an anesthetic to numb the itch. If bites are growing or painful, a doctor can evaluate. "deep woods off" repels fleas.
