Smoking = bad: This is not an all or nothing situation. Women who smoke get pregnant all the time. However, smoking does decrease your chance to conceive. If you're at the point where you need an IUI to conceive, then you are at least experiencing sub-fertility. This should be a great motivator for you to quit smoking (which you need to do anyway).
