Painfull toe: It is a painful condition in which the nail grows so that it cuts into one or both sides of nail bed.It only occurs in people who wear shoes, in countries where people go barefoot it does not happen as it requires downward oressure on the nail by the shoe you have pain and swelling , tissue called granuloma at the nail corner and it often gets easily infected with swelling , drainage and severe pain.
