More than 1 baby: A multiple gestation pregnancy is a pregnancy with twins, triplets or in the octomom's case----eight. This is a just a medical term to distinguish between someone pregnant with one baby. That is called a singleton.

More than one baby: Any pregnancy with more than one baby is a multiple pregnancy. Twins, triplets, etc.
