Yes: Men can experience symptoms similarly to their pregnant partner. This is true of other medical conditions (not that pregnancy is a condition) also. Studies show that men also gain weight with their wives and they also consume more alcohol than when their spouse is not pregnant. It is good you are paying attention to your body and now you can commiserate together! :-) the nausea does improve.
