Not usually: Ativan (lorazepam) is not a treatment for pulmonary hypertension, but may help anxiety that is present in the person who has it. If your anxiety is chronic, it's not the best treatment. If that's your situation, ask your doctor for further help or referral to psychiatrist or psychotherapist.

Ativan (lorazepam): For anxiety, yes, but for pulmonary hypertension per se, no.
