Not yet: Usually, physicians consider irregular periods for 6 months a persistent problem. There are so many reasons why a woman may have irregular periods that it is difficult to say what it going on (usually stress). If you're looking to get pregnant and are having regular periods monthly, then the official definition of infertility would be after 1 year. That would be the time to see a doctor.
