Ovarian mass: Depends on size and characteristics. If over 10 cm, remove right away. If under 10 cm and simple (looks like a balloon on ultrasound), watch and recheck in 6-8 weeks. If complex on ultrasound (solid or walls or growths on inside), remove right away. Most common is going to be benign teratoma (dermoid). Germ cell cancers are more common in this age group.
