What is the general diagnosis procedure for right adnexal mass?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

CAT or MRI: The presence of an adnexal mass suggests a primary ovarian lesion. One must be sure there is no ongoing malignancy in organs such as breast or rectosigmoid colon with spread to ovary and appearance of an adenexal mass. If a primary in ovary considered, excision of lesion required for histologic dx and treatment planning.
