Too long: 2 weeks is a long time...I would go back to the physician who did the pelvic exam for an evaluation sooner rather than later...Best advice is always to ask your doc at the time of evaluation to explain his/her findings...If you don't understand...Keep asking or get a second opinion...

Probably not: Cervical ectropia in general means that the lining on the inside of the cervix is also on the exterior of the cervix, and it may be more sensitive. See your doctor if the bleeding persists.
