Symptoms include: Agitation, anxiety, muscle aches, insomnia, runny nose, sweating, yawning, decreased tearing. Later signs include abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dilated pupils, sweating, goose bumps. One could have weight loss due to not eating because of abdominal pain and diarrhea. Narcotics withdrawal is unpleasant but not life threatening.
