Difficult urinating: Sounds like a prostatitis or enlarged prostate or to a lesser extent scarred urethra (tube structure from bladder to penis eliminating urine). If you are/were experiencing pain/discomfort points to urinary/prostate infection. If you are unable to urinate for more than 6-7 hours you may need to go to doctor or er because it can lead to kidney problems/infections.
