4 yr old has had headache for 8 hrs, relieved temporarily by ibuprofen. now back with raised temperature. is this a cause for concern or virus?

Virus. Concern-maybe: We don't like to say something is a virus until it's over unless it's readily identifiable. A headache with a fever may be serious, but if he seems normal on Ibuprofen -- even temporarily -- , it's unlikely that this is an emergency.
